Gilbert and Rosemary Sablack welcome you to a very special place called the Royal Rose. They extend a warm welcome to you to stay in the newly restored 1903 historic peaceful Dutch Colonial home across from beautiful Lake Michigan. Our lovely four guest rooms are spacious and feature many personal touches and antiques to make your stay restful and relaxing. The Lake Michigan shoreline is within walking distance where you can stroll the boardwalk or view the marina with its picturesque mix of fishing boats and pleasure craft.   A selection of stores, shops, restaurants, post office and a movie theater are just around the corner.  Why not make this your comfortable base from which to explore and enjoy this area of unsurpassed natural beauty, peacefulness and personal reflection.

Morning Room- Enjoy your favorite beverage and cookies next to the fire place in our crisp white, sun filled morning room. It Features white wicker furniture, white tiled floors, surrounded by an array of windows and fresh air. You can walk out through the patio doors with your favorite book and relax on the spacious wrap around deck.

Dining Room- After a wonderful nights sleep, you will be served a full breakfast in our formal dining room where fresh fruit, juice, home baked breads and entree are served.  Fine linen, crystal and china, candle light and classical music will create a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere.

Sitting Room-Our warm and cozy sitting area features a Fire place, Organ, Television, Crystal Chandeliers, and a beautiful display of Antiques.

Balcony Room- The balcony room highlights a four poster bed dressed in blue lace.  A double settee with a coffee table, antiques and a closet add comfort and convenience.  When sitting on the second story balcony one can view the beautiful marina and surrounding area.

Royal Rose Room- The Royal Rose contains a brass bed, sofa sitting area and is accented with pink and white antique wall paper.  It has an adjoining bathroom and shower.

Garden Room - The beautiful stenciled picket fence creates a delightful garden atmosphere.  The soft cream colored antique iron bed, lace curtains and pedestal sink characterizes a feeling of welcome.

Harbor View - This cozy nook overlooks the Manistique Harbor and is decorated with stenciled roses and lace.  It has a poster bed, pedestal sink and antique mirror.
