The Camel Riders Resort and Restaurant are located on 4 beautiful lakes, centrally located in the heart of the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest where you can relax well away from the hustle and bustle yet easily accessible by good roads year round. Breathtaking wilderness scenery for summer, fall and snowmobiling. Consumer rated one of the best kept resorts. Lakes flow into the Indian River for canoeing at its best. Log cabin restaurant overlooks lakes with full menu.

( see restaurants ) . Sand beach for swimming. Snowmobiles haven, over 250 miles of groomed and marked trails. Located between M-28 and US-2, FH-13 to Co. Rd. 440, south of Munising.

CABINS
Our cozy, modern housekeeping cabins are equipped with everything you will need for light housekeeping. All our cabins are fully carpeted except for the bath and have knotty pine interior, double kitchen sinks, gas range and refrigerator with freezer, and automatic gas heat. Bathrooms have module showers with lighted mirror. All pots, pans, dishes, silverware, electric coffee pot, toaster, micro wave, TV, and lines are provided. Inquiries are invited and additional information will be sent upon request. A deposit is required and no deposit will be returned unless we have 60 days notice.

SUMMER AND FALL
A 14 foot aluminum boat is provided with each cabin. A modern fishing cleaning house is available. Gas and Oil on premises. Outboard motor rental available on request. All cabins have web grills, picnic tables, 4 lawn chairs per cabin. Fishing: You bet ! Seven varieties to go after with real prize winners to challenge you. Many miles of trout streams nearby including the Indian, Sturgeon and Fox Rivers holding many fine Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout. Hunting: This is a big, beautiful, and wonderful hunting area with thousands of acres open to the public. Whether you’re after deer, bear, ducks, rabbits, or "Pats", you couldn’t pick a better spot. October also makes a wonderful time to combine both hunting and fishing.

WINTER
Whether you are a ski enthusiast, an ice fisherman, a snow mobiler or a loafer, this is the spot for you. Skiers have limitless cross-country trails as well as ski hills at Chatham and Marquette. Snowmobilers have over 250 marked and groomed State trails out our front door. Gas and oil on premises, 92 octane. Heated garage for your own repairs.
