Directions
We take the following highways from Iowa:
61 to Dubuque, 151 to Madison, 12/18 around Madison to Interstate 90 then 151 again. Take 151 to Fond du Lac (or shortcut on 26 through Rosendale), then get on 41 to Marinette, WI – Menominee, MI. From Menominee, take 35' to Escanaba.
Escanaba, take US 2 about 30 miles to Nahma (you’ll see Mac’s bar and a motel, also FH 13). Turn north on FH 13 and go about 8 miles. You'll round a right corner and there will be Rd. 442. Turn right and stay on that road until you come to the end of it which is a "T." Turn left on FH 43 or Thunder Lake Road. A sign will say Thunder Lake Store. Stay on FH 43, pass the store, and the road will turn into gravel Go through the forest about 4 miles and you’ll see our sign, Delta Resort Turn left and you’ll see our driveway and another sign. Turn in!
From the east: Cross the Mackinac bridge. Take US 2 west (towards Escanaba).
Stop when you get to Manistique,
where you will pick up M-94 North to Munising. About 20 miles,
you will see Jack Pine Lodge/Restaurant. About 3 miles further
and you’ll see a highway sign that says Steuben and FH 43 or
Thunder Lake Road. Turn left on this gravel and continue on that
through Steuben. Don't turn off on Kentucky Road or Little Indian
Road. Eventually you will come to a sharp left turn and cross
over a cement bridge. Keep coming and soon you’ll see Foote
Lake Road and our sign. Turn right and our driveway is down about
300 feet. Turn in!
